Is the “Made in China” era really over? For bicycles and ebikes it’s a yes and no answer. For the last three decades, so much of the industry built their infrastructure and supply chain in China. It’s not easy to simply pick up and move it back to Taiwan or Southeast Asia. Chinese labor is still relatively cheap and that’s why trans-shipment problems still occur.
