Bike and component manufacturers in Taiwan are currently working at near-to-full capacity, with e-bikes in huge demand. Plan your development early and take steps to ensure vendors are able to fulfill your orders on time. This surge in demand has caused most manufacturers to be selective of customers. Minimum orders for frames, components, and complete bicycles have thus been raised substantially to make it worth their time.
The Chinese New Year holiday is also approaching soon. Be prepared for most manufacturing to stall for 1-2 weeks in Taiwan (From 1/23 to 2/3) and about 2-3 weeks in China (From 1/17 to 2/3). In Vietnam and Cambodia, the Tết holiday is also for about a week (1/23 to 2/3).
