January 2026 Updates on U.S. Import Duties and Tariffs for Bicycles and E-bikes from Taiwan, China, Vietnam, and Cambodia
Through 2025 and even now in 2026, there have been a myriad of different tariff updates, penalties, and exceptions implemented by the U.S. government. We simply got tired of updating every single time there was a change because of the constant uncertainty. With the latest update on January 16 involving the reduction of U.S. reciprocal tariffs on Taiwan-origin products from 20% to 15%, we felt it was time to make a new post detailing the current (as of January 20) import duties and tariffs for bicycles and e-bikes from Taiwan, China, Vietnam, and Cambodia.
Note that these rates change all the time. Do your homework and double check the rates before shipment to ensure accuracy. Besides the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTC) website by the U.S. International Trade Commission, you can also check out the Trump 2.0 Tariff Tracker website by Reed Smith and the Tariff Simulator website by Flexport.
