It’s August 1, 2025 and the U.S. reciprocal tariff first announced in April 2, 2025 have been updated. China’s rate is currently set at 30 percent, a temporary rate following a 90-day pause announced on May 12, 2025. On August 12, 2025, it was announced that another 90-day pause will be implemented. The new deadline will be November 10, 2025.
